In 2007, my life came to a halt. For two years, I battled a serious illness, which meant I couldn’t focus. I couldn’t work.
I had to give away all but one of my clients just to be able to manage and stay afloat, putting my family and my finances on rations.
When I finally recovered, I had to start again from zero. My old clients had moved on. I had to get back out there, network, and leverage every relationship I had to rebuild, find new clients, and eventually, grow again.
